Shannon

Established in 2000, Shannon opened their shop in the world heritage city of Bath. They specialise in modern design classics and the Shannon shop in Walcot Street is bursting with wonderful furniture, lighting, textiles, home accessories, Moomin products and gifts.

In 2005, the Shannon brand was taken online allowing a wider range of customers to access, browse, enquire and purchase via mail order. This online presence played a vital part in strengthening the Shannon brand and created a new marketing channel. Concrete’s challenge was to build a platform that maintained brand integrity whilst developing a unique online experience that also gave customers a simple user-journey through to checkout completion.

Vibrant design and industry recognition

The website is bursting with wonderful furniture, lighting, textiles, home accessories, Moomin products and gifts. The design complements the energetic products that are sold by Shannon.

Following the success of the Shannon mail order website created in 2005, the site was further developed to sit on our eCommerce platform. Incorporating a rich set of features such as splitting orders between multiple recipients, express checkout, custom zoom functionality and integration with Sagepay.

Voted in the Independent's Top Ten Best Specialist/Bespoke Furniture Shop.

Since the launch of the new site, Shannon’s online presence has grown considerably and we are extremely proud to be supporting one of the top ten specialist/bespoke furniture shops in the UK (as voted in The Independent).
