Shannon
Shannon was established in 1999 in the world heritage city of Bath to specialise in modern design classics. The Shannon shop in Walcot Street is bursting with wonderful furniture, lighting, textiles, home accessories, Moomin products and gifts.
In 2005, the Shannon brand was taken online allowing a wider range of customers to access, browse products, enquire and purchase via mail order. This online presence played a vital part in strengthening the Shannon brand and created a new marketing channel. Concrete’s challenge was to carefully consider the brand ethos ensuring this is reflected, whilst developing a unique online experience that is easy to use and allows for a simple user journey through to checkout completion.

Following the success of the Shannon mail order website, the existing site was further developed to sit on the Concrete Studios eCommerce platform. The new website incorporates a rich set of features such as splitting orders between multiple recipients, express checkout, custom zoom functionality and is integrated with Sagepay (formally Protx).
Since launching, Shannon’s online presence has grown considerably and we are extremely proud to support one of the top ten specialist/bespoke furniture shops in the UK (as voted in The Independent).
