For the release of Jamie’s 3rd album, Catching Tales, his website underwent a dramatic overhaul to graphically to bring it in line with new artwork, redevelop existing mainstays and introduce a whole host of new features. Barnbrook Design created the Catching Tales album cover and Concrete Studios were tasked to create a rich user interface based on the new graphic general theme.

The site was packed with interactive media, from a fridge magnet game to Jamie’s radio, all developed especially for the new site. The aim of the fridge magnet game was to allow people to compose their own personal message by arranging words that Jamie sings back to you. An automated e-mail to a friend would provide a link to the site where the recipient receives their very own JC message. They could then reply or send another message.

Aimed at Jamie’s growing fan base, the site hoped to keep them coming back for more with the introduction of daily news and regular gallery updates. It proved to be a huge success with thousands of people logging on every day to see what Jamie was up to and even won website of the day in The Sun.
